Flo and Howard are honestly just lovely, the fact they can make me laugh when I’m so close to tears is just amazing. They both have so much patience with me knowing I’m so nervous and after probably the most brutal extraction of a wisdom tooth I think we’ve all experienced they still make me laugh about it. They have both taken a lot of my fear away and I’m finally comfortable enough to keep making an appointment to go back and see them! I recommend them to everyone who needs the dentist.

Over the last few years I have had root canal work, as well as crowns fitted and fillings carried out, by Paul Wilson. Paul always explains what he is doing and why he is doing it; this is very re-assuring. On my last visit I had two appointments in one day and the team handled this very professionally . Nurse Chelsea was especially considerate. I strongly recommend the Centre, as does my wife who also uses it.

I've been using Stoke Bishop for over 16 years and always receive exemplary treatment from Paul Wilson, as well as from Jim and others at the practice. Despite having to have quite a bit of major work (because of previous problems), I've become a much more relaxed patient. This is because of the quality of care provided By Paul, Rachel (the excellent hygienist) and lovely nurse Emily. I recently managed to have a root canal without sedation, something I thought I'd never be able to do. To say I look forward to my dental appointments might be a stretch but, I certainly don't dread them anymore and it's always a pleasure to see the friendly team.

I've been coming to Stoke Bishop Dental Centre for years. I've had various treatments throughout the years but very recently had an implant and I can honestly say that Paul (dentist) and Emily (nurse) were fantastic. I had absolutely no pain after the procedure and it's all healing really well.I have never enjoyed coming to the dentist, in fact I think you could say I'm naturally nervous - but Stoke Bishop Dental Centre and all the people that work there have been absolutely fabulous from the kind and courteous reception to the follow up after care.Definitely 5 stars.

I thoroughly recommend Stoke Bishop Dental Centre. My son and I have both had our teeth straightened by Jay, the Orthodontist, who is fantastic! She always welcomes you with a smile and is very professional. If you’re looking to get your teeth straightened then I’d highly recommend Jay. We have also seen Paul and Howard for our routine dental check ups, both of whom have been very professional, friendly and great with my son.

Had treatment from Howard Greaves and his Dental nurse Flo. Five stars to both. Felt safe and looked after at all times. Both were pleasant. I felt no pain at all despite having front top root canal treatment. The receptionist is also lovely, puts you at ease as soon as you arrive.(Katrina) Five stars all round and thank you.

Excellent customer service from Katrina. She explained all the cost and breakdowns and went above and beyond to help me find a solution and appointment for my dental requirements and even followed up the next day after I had to cancel my appointment. The level of attentiveness is on another level compared to other places. Stoke Bishop Dental are lucky to have such a good FoH.

I really like the practice and how they run it to make it personalised to you. First, when you join, Michelle (lovely) will do a consultation with you to find out what you are looking for, and what treatments you might need. After, you will have another appointment to go through the results and any treatment will be booked in. I think this makes them stand out against other dental surgeries, as all the ones I have previously seen just tell you what you need and will only tell you about services, eg whitening, if you ask. Other surgeries just seem to want you in and out as quick as possible. Whereas here, they ensure from day one that you are in charge of your smile and really seem to care . I needed a crown which was done by Paul, very nice and talks you through everything, and then a hygiene appointment with Rachel who was nice and gave me some good tips. Everyone is very accommodating and kind including nurses/reception, for example I prefer to have all treatment done in one day so they managed to coordinate it all for me.

Wonderful dental practice! Professional, welcoming reception team. Howard (the dentist) is an amazing guy - really friendly, caring and helpful. Rachel (the hygienist) is the most gentle hygienist I've met. Was nervous at first (due to painful hygienist appointments at other practices), but Rachel has made my fear vanish and now I will 100% be coming back here! I definitely recommend this practice!!!!!

Howard Greaves is quite possibly the kindest and most gentle dentist you will ever find. He is so patient and very understanding of nervous and phobic people. I barely even feel the needle going in, and he talks me through every stage of the treatment with the utmost care and respect. This practice has completely transformed the way I feel about dentists. Fabulous practice. We followed Charlotte here, she is simply the best dentist anyone could wish for. Calm, reassuring, kind and totally professional. Sorted orthodontic treatment for all 3 of our children, they now have the best smiles.😊 We travel some distance to get here but it’s so worth it. Rachel is our hygienist, also professional and jolly! We’ve also had Paul for an extraction. Everything you need, all in one place. Also recent fabulous refurb.

Jay was able to realign my son’s teeth in an impressively short space of time. I felt they were competitively priced and we were always able to get appointments to suit our schedules. I have now just finished a course of treatment and as I am 50 I really thought my teeth were beyond help! But after a thorough assessment and plan which I could talk through with the team at each step of the way, I started the plan which took nearly 18 months. But really really pleased with the result! I wouldn't hesitant to recommend this practice. They really are excellent.

I visited on 24th Aug, 2022 for treatment in sedation. I had IV sedation treatment before in Europe, and I was really glad I found Stoke Bishop Dental Centre; but was still nervous about if it still be the same good experience. Dr. Wilson and the lovely nurse were really brilliant, supportive and patient, and I wish I could give much more stars than five :) Thank you for all the detailed information and explanation of what will happen; the pro treatment and the little briefing for my escort. Braces with the Stoke Bishop Dental Centre Practice.Today was the day I finally had my invisalign braces removed.I want to say a big thank you to the amazing dentist Jay and her nurse Chelsea for the journey. I have been debating having braces for a number of years prior beginning my treatment with Jay. Both Jay and Chelsea have made me feel so comfortable and happy along the way of my treatment.I could not be happier with the results I have gained. After many many years of dentist anxiety and avoidance, a broken tooth meant a needed trip. Phoning Stoke Bishop dental practice and speaking with Michelle was a game changer. Being encouraged to talk about how nervous I was and the time she spent to understand was so appreciated. A nervous check up visit followed and Michelle introduces me to Paul who took time and care to talk everything through and relax me with great conversation. An extraction, filling and crown followed done under sedation with Paul and Michelle there every step of the way and me being in control of what and when things would happen. I can’t begin to thank both of them enough and I will definitely be returning.

Dr Paul Wilson is an amazing dentist, very professional and knowledgeable, always advising the best options for me. He was meticulous about the quality and colour of the ceramics. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes and for the service I received. I was allowed to spread the cost over the course of the treatment, which was very helpful.
